In some emergency situations, however, your veterinarian or local police department may be better equipped to assist quickly and effectively. If your dog is experiencing an emergency medical situation please call a veterinarian. If you witness animal cruelty or suspect cruelty please call your local police department. Above the Notch Humane Society can assist in cases of lost or found animals, and situations where surrendering a dog is the last resort.
