Above the Notch Humane Society relies entirely on donations from individuals and businesses. We are an all volunteer organization, which means that all of our resources go towards looking after the dogs in our care.
Above the Notch Humane Society charges an adoption fee, but each dog requires care that far exceeds the adoption fee. This is where we rely on donations, large and small, in order to continue working towards our mission. We are deeply appreciative of every donation.
Above the Notch Humane Society holds regular fundraisers. In 2012 we will be organizing a series of fundraisers for our Save Our Strays fundraising campaign. Our first event will be the Fido’s Feast Culinary Event at the White Mountain School on March 18th.

Join Above the Notch Humane Society for the 1st annual culinary event featuring food prepared by the finest restaurants in the North Country. Chefs will serve mouthwatering small dishes. Beer and wine will be served. 100% of the proceeds from each ticket purchased goes towards caring for the dogs who come to ATNHS. Tickets are $30.00. Tickets can be purchased at Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank locations in Franconia and in Littleton at the Cottage Street and Meadow Street locations, or by calling (603)444-6241.
