Above the Notch Humane Society coordinates spay/neuter clinics to perform the critical task of spaying and neutering dogs and cats from the surrounding communities. We are pleased to work with Dr. Sara White of Vermont to offer this service at a lower cost than at a veterinarian’s office. Dr. White is the founder of Spay ASAP, a mobile spay/neuter program.
Spay/Neuter clinics are held 4 times per year. Pets must be enrolled ahead of time. Rabies, canine distemper, and feline distemper shots are also administered if needed. In addition to the spay or neuter surgery Dr. White weighs the animals, checks for fleas, and performs a basic health assessment. If fleas are found the pet is treated with Advantage.

How Do I Register For The Clinic?

If you would like us to mail you a form please call ATNHS at 603-444-6241.
Once we receive your enrollment form we will send you a packet with information on where the clinic is located what time you can drop your pet off. We will also send a form for you to complete with more information about your pet, such as the color, distinctive markings, age, and sex. Please bring these completed forms with you on the day of the clinic.
Payment can be mailed with the enrollment form prior to the clinic. We also accept payment on the day of the clinic when pets are dropped off.
What To Expect On The Day of The Clinic?
We ask that pets are dropped off at Littleton Pet Center and Kennel between 8:30 am and 9 am. Cats must be in a carrier, and only one cat per carrier. Dogs must be on leashes. Pick-up is between 3:30 pm and 4 pm the same day, at which time information is distributed on post-surgery care.
